Education is considered to be the key instrument in determining power and influencing the level of well-being and prosperity of a nation. However, despite an increase in enrollment and literacy rates in India, a significant number of children are deprived of education, majority of those belonging to the disadvantaged group.
So we make all efforts to cater to the educational needs of children from the underprivileged sections of the society. We believe that educating underprivileged children and equipping them with appropriate skills, attitude and knowledge would help them to rise out of the intergenerational cycle of poverty.
To this end, we undertake activities to sensitize the community, especially the parents, on the benefits of educating their children. High drop out rate is a concern in the state. To address the issue, we network with the education department, schools to identify drop out children, provide them bridge education and put them back to school once they attain minimum learning level.
We also sponsor children hailing from poor backgrounds and whose parents cannot afford the minimum costs for sending their children to school.
